My Case Studies
How to create a successful brand? That is usually the first question. Some of our clients say: we would love our brand to be as recognisable as Apple!
It is not enough to prepare good foundations such as a quality logo or a good-looking webpage. After that we also educate our clients on how to grow their brands successfully, how to create content based on their sales plans, and how to achieve efficient brand awareness and build a successful business in the long term.
Snackzation • frozen healthy sweet-corn snack
The Kornizzy — Product Listing Project
Since my childhood I have been one of the biggest fans of corn in the universe. When I was 8 months old my parents moved from West-Hungary to East-Hungary, and I grew up in Hajdúnánás, a little East-Hungarian city, spending most of my time in nature. One of my favourite plants was corn — I could eat tonnes of fresh boiled corn in August when it had its season.
I would never have thought that one day I would make a product popular that is made of corn. On my first workday at the Kornizzy company I was totally amazed when I saw the treasure in the fridge: the Snackzation, called Kornizzy — a frozen healthy snack in a cup, made of sweet corn and other tasty ingredients.
As the sales and marketing person of the product, I felt it in my veins. The biggest happiness was when the chain directors of Hungary’s biggest retail chains showed a surprisingly satisfied face after tasting the product and getting it listed despite the pandemic. I am never selling anything — I am always assuring solutions to people’s problems, and this is how I become authentic in their eyes.
After 8 months of hard work, market research and product development to fulfil the needs of the Hungarian market, our authentic content production — built on the sales strategy worked out with the owners — helped get the product listed in Hungary’s most popular online webshop, kifli.hu.
The unique content creation here was one of my biggest projects: to work out with my team the photo and graphic-design content introducing a brand new category in Hungary and later the European market. Special thanks to our content creator Marko Novkov and to my ex-colleagues Ervin Móricz and Szabolcs Jánosi for their amazing graphic-design work.
Tummy-friendly coffee • community building
Bristot Caffé Hungary
By scrolling my Instagram feed I discovered a magical, tummy-friendly coffee from Bristot. I got truly excited — I had never seen a coffee like that before — and contacted the business owners to create unique marketing activities and make this particular coffee popular in Hungary. It turned out they have several coffees: grained, with beans, and compostable, aluminium-free capsule coffees.
Because of the Covid situation the client wanted their products to become more popular on social platforms via a nice, consistent photo feed, and to build a community with games and activities, since the HORECA sector they served was facing a crisis.
We organised a summer shooting in 2020 — introducing the moments of drinking coffee safely at home and in the office — and a Christmas one, a cooperation with one of the biggest Hungarian chocolate brands.
As Vivien’s father said, the most important thing between companies is the quality of cooperation, and I am truly grateful for theirs. Our communication strategy is always built on the actual situation: in these times we plan week to week due to fast-changing regulations, and we shape communication by speaking the language of the target audience. One of our messages: don’t be depressed and closed — go out for a takeaway Bristot coffee and enjoy the moments on the street with your friends!
Strategy • logo • web • content shooting
Nánási Portékázó Bisztró
The mayor’s request was to create for their new restaurant a unique online appearance based on modern trends, while also introducing the East-Hungarian countryside and its traditions. Next to the content shooting, web development and logo creation, we were also asked to prepare a business strategy for the bistro.
First we created the business strategy, focusing on the goal that the restaurant should be an “everyday favourite place offering local specialties in a healthy style” — not only for the citizens but also for the tourists visiting the city and the thermal bath in summer.
Based on the strategy our designer prepared a mood-board and from it the logo, which introduces the countryside while meeting new trends. After approval we created the menu and window-sticker designs in the same style.
We then created the photo-content schedule and organised a one-day business shooting focusing on the place, the local specialties and the employees, which gave the base for the online marketing communication.
When the photo content was delivered, we set up the structure and text of the website and our web developer built the whole site for the client.
Personal brand • photo content • logo
Szabó Béla — Real Estate Services
Béla worked for several years as an employee for giant real estate companies and decided to start his own entrepreneurship. His request was to be supported with relevant photo content introducing him as a successful entrepreneur — his uniqueness, his team and their services — plus a logo.
First we gathered all the important points of his business strategy and listed the services, helping Béla highlight the unique elements that differentiate him on the real estate market. Based on this discussion we created a detailed photo-shooting schedule and produced his content. After that we designed his logo from the brainstorming and mood-board, and after approval delivered a brand guideline to help him use it correctly across different visual and online surfaces.
Security services • online marketing • photo content
Biztos Guard Ltd.
Biztos Guard Ltd. provides one of the most reliable security services in Budapest, Hungary. Our task was to introduce online marketing tools to them and set up their online marketing strategy, and based on that to create a photo content shooting.
In parallel with delivering the pictures we created the webpage structure and text. The photo content speaks for itself: our goal was to introduce the team and the services based on their uniqueness.
Gourmet content • health blog
Pepo Papa — with Stiller Tamás
Stiller Tamás is a genius master chef of Hungarian cuisine. His business partners ask him to test their products and create recipe books and suggestions for them. We met via LinkedIn and now cooperate to support his partners with online marketing strategy and content creation.
Pepo Papa, the pumpkin oil, is one of our favourite common references. We prepared photo content and, alongside sharing Tamás’s gourmet recipes, we lead a health blog introducing the positive effects of pumpkin oil to build community and user engagement.
Guest author • 3000+ readers
Publishing in Digital Hungary
Based on my Instagram blog I was asked to write as a guest author on digitalhungary.hu about the topic: “How to create balance between using digital tools and being in reality.” The article had more than 3000 readers, and I look forward to writing the next one for the biggest digital forum in our country. In the article we used a photo prepared by Marko, to spread the vibes of the Content Creators.
Communication & online marketing strategy
herBar Budapest — Gluten Free Restaurant
The situation was a bit reversed, like the Bristot case: the owner of herBar Budapest discovered my Instagram account and, based on my posts and references with the Content Creators, asked me to lead his communication and online marketing strategy. I started this cooperation in 2021, and by tasting their gluten-free food I felt passionate about the mission — to help the restaurant get known in Budapest after COVID-19. I worked actively with the restaurant leader, did deep market research and suggested unique food selections for the menu.
I created quality content, led social media communication and advertising strategy, ran Google campaigns, arranged regular content refreshments of the webpage and coordinated the TripAdvisor content and advertising. In the meantime my own food intolerances were diagnosed, so I dug deep into the differences between intolerances and allergies — gluten, histamine, lactose and milk intolerance — and learned how conditions like thyroid underwork, endometriosis, IBS or leaky gut can cause them. This clarified exactly which audience we needed to reach to bring more guests to the restaurant.
I built a large network and a loyal community around the restaurant: I invited doctors, dietitians and other professionals to educate and support people living with these problems. Dr Mária László, who found the cause of my sickness after three years, also valued the restaurant’s offer. I promoted the restaurant at Semmelweis University events, where it became a member of the Family Friendly program (a 10% student discount), organised the “Dance for your health” campaign at the 50th jubilee of the Semmelweis Medical Cup — where herBar presented seven allergen-free muffins and gluten-free hard seltzer — and donated vouchers to the Semmelweis Final Ball.
Another important area was building cooperation with big hotels (Párisi Udvar Budapest 5★, Corinthia Budapest 5★), which sent guests with intolerances to the restaurant, plus active community building with vegan and vegetarian societies and influencers. herBar became a real passion for me, because I know how hard it is to find a good place to eat fresh, healthy food when you have several intolerances. Many thanks to Mr Marko Novkov for the great captures, as always!
